Digital Heroes Studio is my web studio in Saltdean, Sussex. I help small businesses in Sussex, across the UK and further afield fix, run and grow their websites, so they get found on Google and in AI search and turn visitors into enquiries.

How I got here
I've been in publishing since 2003, starting out in magazines and working with some of Europe's biggest publishers on titles including Wired, Hello! and Press Gazette. Then the industry was turned upside down, and I moved with it. I helped publishers make the jump from print to digital, building their websites, getting their content found on Google and launching them on platforms like Apple News. Along the way I've laid out Kindle books, produced video, and worked across industries from cosmetics to automotive.
In that time I've worked alongside hundreds of agencies, many of them big ad agencies in the car industry. I saw the same thing again and again: slow work, eye-watering fees, and very little to show for it. So nine years ago I set up Digital Heroes Studio to do it differently. Someone experienced who gets the job done properly, explains it clearly and charges fairly.
The tools keep changing, and AI search is the latest shake-up. But the job hasn't changed since my magazine days: making sure the right people find you. One of my favourite recent moments was showing Ibiza Food Tours they weren't just top of Google Maps, ChatGPT was recommending them too.

Outside of work
I live in Saltdean with my family. Away from the screen, you'll sometimes find me DJing at weddings and events around Sussex with Good Frequency.
And whenever I can, I'm in the mountains with a snowboard. I'm happiest somewhere with snow on the ground and peaks all around.
